DEFINITIONS

in these conditions the following terms used shall have the following meaning: “the company” (“we” “us”) means AMSTEIN LTD. “customer” (“you”) means the customer of the company. “contract” means any contract for the sale of goods by the company to the customer.

PAYMENTS

when you buy a product through this site you are obliged, through the site to provide accurate, complete and current credit card information for a valid credit card that you are authorized to use. if you are under 18, you may use AMSTEIN only with involvement of a parent or guardian. AMSTEIN and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

you are solely responsible for any and all fees charged to your credit card by the issuer, bank, or financial institution including, but not limited to, overdraft, insufficient funds, and over the credit limit fees. you agree to notify us about any billing problems or discrepancies within 90 days after they first appear on your account statement. if you do not bring them to our attention within 90 days, you agree that you waive your right to dispute such problems or discrepancies.

we may modify the price, content, or nature of the service at any time. we may provide notice of any such changes by email, notice to you upon log-in, or by publishing them on the site.

CURRENCY

the price you see on www.amstein.co.uk is the price you will pay at checkout and is in british stirling. AMSTEIN is not responsible for incorrect pricing on external websites.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

under the united kingdom’s distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel your order up to 7 days after order receipt date. we offer a 14 day returns policy from the date of receipt of goods. all refunds exclude shipping costs, customs and import duties. for full returns information, please see our returns page here.

AMSTEIN reserves the right to cancel an order, for any reason, for example that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, or our site fails to cut off set limits on products sold and continues to take orders we cannot fulfil, or the product received from the manufacturer does not satisfy our quality control standards.

we may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. we will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

CLAIMS

claims arising from damage, delay or partial loss of the goods in transit must be made in writing to AMSTEIN within 7 working days of delivery. AMSTEIN shall be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim made hereunder, and the customer shall, if so requested in writing or verbally by AMSTEIN, promptly return any of the goods subject to any claim and all packing materials securely packaged and tracked to AMSTEIN for examination.

LIABILITY

if the customer establishes that any of the goods have not been delivered, or have been delivered damaged, or are not of the correct quantity, AMSTEIN would offer the customer refund of their goods plus shipping charges. in no circumstances shall the liability of AMSTEIN to the customer under this condition exceed the invoice value of the goods.

FAULTY GOODS

goods are faulty if they are received defective or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. if the customer establishes that any of the goods are faulty AMSTEIN would offer the customer refund of their goods including shipping charges.

NATURAL VARIATION

AMSTEIN products are made with natural materials that have natural variation, using hand made processes. this means no two products are exactly the same. your product may vary slightly from the images on our website, for example – variation of shade of colour, variation across leather surface (grains, textures, pores, patches and marks) or variations in hand finishes. these should not be considered as faults, they make each one of our products brilliantly unique from the very start. the customer’s statutory rights will not be affected.

vegetable tanned leather with a natural finish changes over time, with use and with the environment. hand feel and colour will soften and mellow darker. the surface will acquire marks, scratches and stains from daily wear. this is all part of the process of making it your own and is considered as normal wear and tear for this material.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

AMSTEIN reserves the right to alter specifications to those stated on the website, including slight differences in colour, shade and measurements. the customer’s statutory rights will not be affected.

COLOURS

we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on AMSTEIN. however, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

your use of the site and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights relating to the content (as described in the content section below), including AMSTEIN software and all HTML and other code contained in this site.
