based in a bright, south london studio, pieces are designed and developed by founder laura amstein – who comes from a background in luxury leather goods, previously working for loewe, jw anderson and burberry, and receiving a design award from the conran foundation. simplifying and reducing, amstein follows a slow, small scale, thoughtful path:

bags are made in small batches. to help estimate how many to make and avoid over producing, orders open up before production starts. once made, you may find a few pieces in stock on the website.
